Fifty50 have helped Tissot in rolling out the new Sea-Touch visual merchandising materials to its retail outlets. The work included watch displays, posters and duratrans.

Vertu is a possession to be treasured and a modern classic. Envisioned by the company’s Creative Director and designer, Frank Nuovo, his goal was to apply authentic time-honoured traditions and craftsmanship to proven mobile technology, the latter being a category in which Nuovo had excelled as Head of Design for Nokia since 1995. In fusing traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology in such a way, Nuova endowed an everyday object with artistry and individualism, elevating it to the level of the finest timepiece. Prior to forming Fifty50, Matt spent four years at Vertu developing the initial brand concept. During this period he worked directly under Frank Nuovo’s guidance and with the company’s key marketing personnel.

    Swatch

    The history of Swatch has already filled many miles of library shelves, as the fascination it exerts continues to sustain the chronicles of Swiss watchmaking. In the 1970s, the Swiss watchmaking industry was facing meltdown, undergoing the biggest crisis it had ever known. In 1979, Swiss watchmakers pulled off an amazing feat – they launched the «Delirium Tremens», the world’s thinnest wristwatch, made up of a limited number of components. This was soon to create a revolution in the world of watchmaking and lead to its renaissance: in 1983 Nicolas G. Hayek launched the Swatch, a plastic-cased watch consisting of only 51 components instead of the usual 91 or more, offering high quality at an affordable price. This wristwatch very soon spread its joy of life right across the globe. It was phenomenally successful – the most successful watch of all time – and its parent company, the Swatch Group, was to become the largest and most dynamic watchmaking company in the world.

    Hamilton

    The Hamilton Watch Company was founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1892. Its first series of pocket watches, Broadway Limited, became known as the “Watch of Railroad Accuracy”. The unrivalled precision and reliability of the Hamilton railroad watches put a stop to the epidemic of serious accidents and marked the beginning of a long and continuing era of successful timekeeping. The Hamilton brand encompasses two product lines – American Classic and Khaki. Both families build upon the brand’s American heritage to produce masterpieces of modern design and Swiss technology.
